See What I Have Done is a totally creepy account of the infamous Lizzie Borden murders. I give it 4 out of 5 stars and it is the perfect read for the fall season!

I wasn’t sure what I would make of this book, being interested in the Lizzie Borden story but unsure how it would be in novel format.  I was happily surprised with this dark and ominous account of the murders. Lizzie Borden’s parents were found hacked to death in their home in 1892 Massachusetts. While the investigation ensues, Lizzie is eventually tried for the murders but is acquitted. The case eventually goes cold and is still unsolved.

See What I Have Done has turned this horrible tragedy into an intense psychological journey.  Each chapter is told from the point of view of one of the people who were in or around the home on the days before…
