Neil Gaiman, I’m convinced, has an ability to think on an unknown platform that is full of fairy dust and childhood dreams. His ability to see the world as a child not only makes for great stories but is truly a gift. The Ocean at the End of the Lane is a wonderful fairy tale that would stimulate the imagination of the most mundane minds.

There were parts of the book I was not entirely confident in my literary comprehension. A scared young boy overcomes all his anxieties and fights to defeat the unknown.The unknown aspect of the story is very much unknown, I’m not sure I even entirely know what happened.
